I guess I lied about being up to date. I found some photos from this fall in North Carolina that I wanted to post. They are from Cliffs of the Neuse State Park and the beach at Fort Macon. I <3 the east coast :)

South American Landscapes

These are some of the dramatic landscapes in Bolivia and Peru. Some of these photos (like the crooked ones) were taken from windows of buses and taxis.

Today I am posting some photos of the people of Bolivia and Peru. I'll describe as I go. (And I wish the photos would go back to their normal, smaller size!)

Gran Poder - La Paz







Gran Poder, in May, is the largest festival in La Paz. It is organized like a parade, which goes from about 8am until midnight. Each group, or fraternity, makes their costumes by hand, has their own special dance, and plans this all out about a year in advance.

Architecture

The photos have suddenly gotten too big :( I did the same thing that I did in the first two posts, where they were the perfect size. So I am not sure what happened!

But anyway, here are a few photos of the architecture in Peru and Bolivia. Not my strongest subject, otherwise I would probably have a few more of the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu! (I do, however, feel that this photo of the steps is one of my best!)
